Now I’ve upgraded the light to a AI prime and my Pygmy just disappeared about 3 weeks ago so I’ve added a small flame back the Pygmy I had for 6 years tanks doing well.
My acid rain anemone split and now I have two

Man your tank is stunning! I just picked up a JBJ 24.
Could you send me a picture of the back, do you run a skimmer or just a refug?

Thanks No skimmer just 3 gal water changes a week I have rubble rock in the middle chamber I built a glass lid also for the tank which helps evaporation

Nice! How is the flameback angel doing? I wanted to do a pygmy but was scared it would be too big. Thinking of doing a possum wrasse and tailspot with it.

For the back I'm hoping to do a sponge, chaeto and carbon in chamber 1, skimmer in chamber 2 and just the pump in chamber 3.

He’s great he was at the shop where i bought him got like 5 months and eating everything that’s key on those Pygmy’s .
I have never seen him nip at corals I used to have cheato in middle but if you do regular water changes I’ve had no problems.
I started this tank in 2008 with the clown he was a baby true peculiar only about the size of a nickel now!!! I’ve had him 14 years and the first tank was a 14 gal bio Cubii
Running a skimmer full time will strip too much out I found maybe run it for a day at a time every few days IMHO
