So I’m running 40lbs of marine grade white gravel from coralline in the 30 gallon high do you all think that’s enough or will I need more I’m going all gravel this time because it seems to work better for denitrification and oxygen exchange with the bacteria under the rock and it allows the micro fauna to flourish it’s arriving today I have the water in the tank all that’s left to do tonight I need to take off the overflow and clean it because i accidentally loosened it and it is leaky now and I have to dry the rubber gasket off and put it back and I’ll be ready to go

My substrate came in and i love thr texture of it its a mix between sand and gravel kinda and its marine grade so it wont leach any chemicals or anything into my water
