Hello everyone,
I am finally getting around to posting a build thread.
This is my first saltwater tank. It has been up for about 6 months now.
Current equipment:
Lighting: Tuna blue Kessil A360x. On a 12hr schedule
Flow & Filtration: Sicce 1.5 return pump and a Vortex MP10QD Intank filtration and refugium basket. Intank double layered filter, Bio home marine ultimate around 4lbs, chemipure blue and purgien. Eheim 20 gallon aerator. Around 40lbs or caribsea life rock. Mixture of 25lbs Samoan pink very fine sand and 2lbs caribsea crushed aragonite.
Heater: 100 watt aqueon pro.
Parameters
Salinity: 1.024-1.025
Temperature: 76-78
Alk: 9
Ph: 8.4
Nitrate: 0-20
Nitrite: 0-almost undetectable
Phosphate: 0-almost undetectable
Calcium:420-440
MG: 1200-1400
Current livestock:
Fish: Scooter Blenny, Sail-fin Blenny, Bicolor Blenny, Royal Gramma,
Blue Damsel, Orange Watchman Goby, Two Ocellaris Clowns.
Inverts/misc: Sea Cucumber, two Blood shrimp, Cleaner shrimp, Pistol shrimp, various snails and hermits.
Current Corals:
Softies/Zoanthids: king Midas, nirvana, Pandora, blood sucker, sunny d, fire and ice, couple of unnamed frags. Purple richordia, some leathers green polys and a star polyp.
LPS: red Goni, sea foam Goni, orange crush echinata, spitfire lepto, jack-o-lantern lepto, pipe organ, candy cane acan, two Duncan’s, red blasto
Montis: mystic sunset, beach bum, red sunrise, seasons greetings.
