Currently building a 350g stock pond in my basement The above the water view has always been my favorite so started down the rabbit hole of diy plywood tanks and landed on a stock pond.

Details
6’ by 24” 350g Behlen poly pond food grade
48” Bashea sump -elevated
Reef Octo 250 skimmer
300x2 brs heaters (may need more)
Dual Jerpet 3k returns
Maxspect 350 gyres
Kessil refug light

Slow build, but long term goals will be center rock scape with a mangrove tree. Lighting will start with viparspectra x3, and eventually add in metal halides. Florida crushed coral for substrate and a few rocks from my main display to get the cycle started

Following along!

Tank is cycling nicely. Added a few chunks of live rocks and a bunch of dry. Once it’s cycled, I have a few fish to move over and a bit more live rock

I love it! A guy that lives me has a similar setup. Do you have a regular glass display

Pond is growing out well!! Added on a macro tank with mangroves. Such a fun tank
I did the same thing but with an under gravel filter. It is way better than I expected and the fish and corals love it.
