My 5 month old trigger sump might be defective need help.

Need some input. I purchased my trigger sapphire cr44 at the beginning of September 2024 and I noticed it has developed some serious bubbles along the baffles that has me concerned it might fail. I email trigger about this has anyone else had this issue? Will it be replaced? Only have had the sump for 5 months I'm alittke disappointed.

It's worring to me considering it's not even 6 months old. Rather not have the baffle fail and compromise structural integrity of other baffles.

Even with the new pic its really hard to see exactly what is going on. Its an acrylic sump if it was glass I could understand silicone issues that isnt going to happen in an acrylic sump. Its very hard to tell what is going on and how/why. It should not be getting bubbles in the acrylic.

You emailed the manufacture. They will be the best source of resolution be it warranty (if still under) or how to fix if not.

It's some bubbles along an internal baffle. It's fine, the top is more structural than the baffle. If it's bothering you so much contact trigger and ask them about it. you can go through the hell of swapping a sump for another one or live with it.

I agree It's definitely still under warranty I bought it brand new from bulk on September 4th 2024

It's not just in that location it's also along the back side bottom seam and the rate at which it has progressed all with in the last 2 weeks which has me worried about it leaking. Not really much if a hassle to swap my sump.

Yeah that's what has me puzzled it shouldn't be forming bubbles.....

It's not an issue. And are you even sure the bubbles aren't from the chaeto chamber? My chaeto area also had bubbles like this. Not a defective sump.

Also. You won't get leaks as this is not a joint that can cause a leak.

Not sure how it was debunked. Likely from chaeto and just flow through the sump. 100% not a defective sump.

It was debunked because I ran my finger next to the seam and the bubbles didn't disappear....

Yes, all in the same chamber. Not an issue.
