I Leveled the tank and stand out today one last time. I installed the bottom of the cabinet and setup the piping and sump. I installed a modified connector to link the loc line and nozzles for the return line.
My next step will be to install the doors with magnetic locks (keep my 1.5 year old out). I will also finish the cabling and controller boards. I Need to lay everything out on the second board and plan out the space, mount and drill holes to feed cables.
last I will setup the Apex stuff which I feel will be the most time consuming along with plumbing the return pump and flow monitors.
I’ve seen tons of discussions recommending that! Is there a break down of what is needed and parts? I’m not the greatest at plumbing, so I need parts lists and a how-to. It scares me hacking into pipes on a system that I paid a fortune for without a good idea of what is needed and his to do it?I would consider, while its empty changing out to a better gate valve. just a thought so glad I did that to mine.

Awesome, thanks I will check it out.totally understand man I felt the same way, if you look on my build thread I showed 2 ways of doing in. ( build is going real slow )
but I gave somewhat detailed write up how I did mine.
Devaji, I searched the threads and could not locate the specific thread you mentioned about the Redsea plumbing mods. Is there anyway you can post the link?totally understand man I felt the same way, if you look on my build thread I showed 2 ways of doing in. ( build is going real slow )

How did you anchor the lights in the ceiling? Is it attached to a stud? Did you use bolt anchors?I installed my Aquatic Life T5HO hybrid with (4) Radion blue Gen 5’s. I selected Geisemann power chrome super Acitinic and Acitinic blue bulbs to start out. The hanging kit was a AI hanging kit which seems to work well and was easy to install.
I have some Diffusers for the G5’s I will put on to check out the comparison.
picture is obviously very blue. I’ll take a picture in a bit with the lights off to show a better picture of the setup. I will be using a par meter eventually to adjust the Radions on the rails to get the most uniform coverage.
I used the AI hydra hanging kit. I drilled it into the drywall and used the anchor option. I modified the Aquatic life harness, removed the loops and slid the AI portion into the guides. It was very easy. I can take additional pictures if you’d like. This is the kit I used. How did you anchor the lights in the ceiling? Is it attached to a stud? Did you use bolt anchors?
I used an adapter that was 3D printed by a member of a local reef store. It allows connection to lok-line and I added some upgraded flow ends. It Should help with directing flow and angling if needed.Did you change the overflow box? Looks like a cool external overflow now.
