That sound really exciting. You also really have the reefing bug:). I have to finish the kitchen for my next tank, and that is going to be a custom peninsula tank 140 gal.

I was wondering why an upgrade hasn't appeared:cool:

I have been posting that I was waiting for the kitchen to be finished. Now that I have started working on the kitchen the second tank is a little closer to reality. I did find a stove and hood that will set me back a little though:oops:

Common on Jeffery.....where are your priorities. Sacrifice on the stove/oven so you can put the extra cash into that dream tank!!! I found a nice two burner oven / stove combination for $112.

Very Small Oven Stove 112.jpg

Your morning oatmeal will taste exactly the same on this money saving appliance versus that overprice boat anchor you were looking at.

Picture of tank cleaning, look at all those chunks ;Woot ;Hilarious

Good luck with the turnaround.. I’ve been in the same boat with more than one tank and managed to eventually beat the ugly’s. Recently helped my brother in law with a tank he had completely given up on, you literally couldn’t see any rock or sand because of GHA and he even mats of algae floating on the waters surface.. I was amazed with the turnaround the last time I saw it.

This will happen with my tank. I have alway been honest and I would like anyone that comes across my thread to see that we all have tank issues, and not to quit. I have seen a few build were members have given up. As I was posting in @Crabs McJones thread and his beautiful 75, I am going to be selective what corals I will reestablish. I will be looking for some of the cool corals and plan where they will go from my past experiences with the system and lighting.

Looks better already! Glad to see I’m not the only one still running a HOB overflow ;)

The CPR has been a good overflow. My future concern is finding the Toms aqua flow pump to keep the siphon. I might have to switch tanks if the Toms pump are not a available in the future. What are you using?

When you're ready Jeffrey, I'll come up and go shopping with you. I've proven I'm pretty good at spending your money.
