Hey guys, I've decided to start a tank thread seeing that I have some SP's now and I actually have something to post some pics of. I'll start it off from when I received my frags as I don't have much if any pics during construction and setup.

Once again these are cell pics. When I locate a better camera I will take shots of individual frags and upload some progress shots. :)

Some stats on my tank:

DIY cabinet made with 2x4's and sheeted with plyboard, will eventually get around to putting on some more trims.
Sump is DIY - 36 x 12 x 12 (LxWxH) with filter floss in DIY 'basket'
Tank is 48 x 18 x 20 (L x W x H)
Mag 7 for return
2 - 1050 Koralias
1 - 550 Koralia
No-Name skimmer rated for a 125 Gal works excellent, I empty the collection cup every 3 days, filled with dark smelly liquid
Lighting is Aquamana LED system (100 3w LEDs, 2 power cords and 2 dimmers, one for blues and one for whites, red, green and violet) works very well for me. can be seen here

Modified Bean animal overflow using 2 pipes

Dosing B-Ionic 2 part manually for now and magnesium when needed
I also dose Vodka (carbon)
Feed Coral frenzy 3-4 times a week
5 gallon water change done once a week or at least try to do it once a week...doesn't always happen on time

Params are kept stable at
Nitrate- 0 (undetectable)
Phosphate - 0 (undetectable)
Temp - 78-80
Calcium - 480
Alk - 11

livestock consists of:
2 clowns
1 firefish
2 seaweed blennies
2 tiger gobies (haven't seen them for a while)
started with 4 - 1" sized turbos now have quite a few babies crawling around...
cerith snails (reproduce like crazy also, I take out a handful around every other week)
15-20 nassarius snails
1 feather duster
some zoas (will get pics soon)
around 25 coral species (will also get pics soon)

I think I covered everything about the system so far....
will get some more pics up as soon as I get a better camera. :)

Feel free to leave any comments, suggestions or any type of feedback. It will be appreciated

There's about 40lbs of rock can't remember exactly.
I try to keep it clean, the only thing that drives me crazy is that I get puffs of micro bubbles every few minutes and for nothing I can find the source....

Wow beautiful! thanks so much for sharing.

I wish I knew 1/10 as much about coral as I do fish!
