It’s alive!!!! Your like Mcguyver lol how are the corals looking?

I got these crappy photos of the survivors today with just the xhos on

So the ones that u see are bouncingback still have a small I wanna sayred slime problem and my flow destroys my sand bed but the tank is def more enjoyable right now I enjoy looking at it again the water is so clean (besides the sand tornados)

After changing my fuge light my nitrates and phates have cut in half so I no longer run phosphate remover as it’s at .02 and when I remember I switch out my carbon

I literally clean my glass once a week every Sunday and blow off my rocks

This triton method is so easy and makes my tank so much more enjoyable it’s girlfriend approved for sure

Quick update for me

I sent out my sea swirls to well sea swirl to get them tuned up like you would a car. 180 dollars later my swipes are almost brand new. To me it was well worth the money and the whole process took maby three weeks from sending out till they were back on my door step. Great communication thumbs up from this guy.

I’m waiting until tomorow to put them on as I am adding 2 reefbrite slim accent t5’s.

In the middle of my tank is a glass well I don’t know what it is for and it’s a par destroyer 225 under the glass 325 in the same spot after the glass ends(per Neptune pmk). Hoping to gain at least 100 par

So yea that’s it for today

Another Quick update

Got the Reefbrite t5 in and set up
I really like the t5 accent and the par it supplies (almost 150 where the center brace isn’t and 75 where it is)

I hate my canopy isn’t big enough to handle everything or I hate I didn’t think ahead to make it bigger.

I don’t loose any light when just the xhos are on in there new position.

Overall am happy with the upgrade

Which brings me to how to hide the t5s and the xhos reflection in my eyes when I’m in my viewing spot

It’s a beautiful spot makes me lazy

So my plan is this

I don’t know which way I like it just yet

Or this way (kinda my favorite)

I also have no good way of hanging it around the bottom of the canopy that should be fun as I want to be able to remove it


Stain face will be busy soon

As you can see she is still thrilled
