The salt mixes exactly where I keep my parameters #1. #2, it mixes clean, and quickly, no residue. #3, it's affordable. #4, it is ICP tested and small batch verified. Finally, it's fortified with trace and big 3 to NSW.

Well that sounds reasonable.
I am using red sea blue bucket and was considering AF Reef Salt. Because its like 30bucks cheaper.

That's what I switched from RS Blue ad well, mg too low, tired of adding buffer to do water changes...
That sounds good.
I might try to change aswell then..

As I read the Reef Salt has Amino Acids in the mix. Did you see any drastic changes in the reef after changing salts?
I mean, can I just go ahead and mix the next waterchange with the new salt no issues?

Probiotic Reef Salt has aminos, bacteria, and c-source, and vitamins, essentially all additives from Probiotic system.
Reef Salt does not. Sea Salt does not.
Cannot speak to other new hybrid salts.
Probiotic Salt is a great salt, if you run that program. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it

Edit: They must have changed the recipe and I was unaware, lol. I guess it does have that stuff, lol. I have not had issues, quite the opposite, lol. Explains some things to me though... hmmm....

Yes, thats why I am asking :)
I have read the description of the reef salt on the AF website.

And I was surprised that they have aminos and vitamin c in the salt.
but, I think like in your case its something that works, lol.

I need to pay more attention!
I cannot understand why AF would do this, man I am a bit irritated! I haven't seen issues since being back on AF, actually improved, lol, 3rd 200g bag, so we'll converted, new water all AF Reef Salt, so I guess no harm no foul. I am not dosing aminos, so a gentle amount during biweekly w/c's is acceptable at 15%.

Gorgeous piece! It looks awfully purple monsterish so you know it's going to be good.

Thanks Tim,
It's a special one, in the vault, next to many others, my quest for oddball smoothies continues... I am hoping to get some other stuff locally in the upcoming months, 30k lokani included, hopefully...

Good evening!
Most of the reef is modular, this made the transfer from the 90 gallon, to my current display fairly easy. Being able to move corals around, whether for aesthetics, or fragging, and maintenance, makes each of those tasks much easier.
While the new scape is nice, I felt like many colonies were lost in the depth of the display, so I did a re-design. The scape is higher in the back now, putting colonies out on display.
Thanks for looking :)
