Wow. 1.022 is miles out.
That would potentially put you in the 1.030 bracket if using solely.
IF my lfs is right and their salt water is mixed to 1.024, that would put my Hanna 0.002 out.
I'm thinking of lowering my display to 1.024 using my Hanna. If it is out by 0.002 then happ7 days, if it is accurate then 1.024 shouldn't cause any problems.
Yeah.
I just used it again to take a pic and it’s reading 1.023-1.024. I don’t trust that thing.

Last Thursday I did a 30% water change, using water from my LFS instead of from my normal source.
Since then I have had to clean my glass twice due to a build up of film algae, compared to more than a week between cleaning before. My cleaner shrimps, which had been hiding behind my rocks for months, are back to being active again.
My nutrient levels are still reading roughly the same (0.2 and 20)
I'm sure that this must mean something, however I have no idea what.

Just a little update.
I have now changed more than 50% of my water, using my LFS water. While I was there I also checked my digital Hanna Salinity tester against 2 different refractometers and it is indeed reading 0.002 low. Therefore my display has been running at 1.028.
Things have definitely stopped going downhill. My two Garfs, that are my canary corals, are starting to get their nice purple color back and the burnt tips on other frags seem to have improved.
So, I believe that the problem was a combination of copper in my source water and salinity too high.
Thanks for everyones help, as always I really appreciate it.
Hopefully I am back to work in a week or two and a RODI unit is top of my shopping list.
