Acro - getting thick and encrusting but no vertical growth

I am also having the same scenario with my sticks. most are thicc bois . I am pretty sure it is the flow and also they are setting a solid base to send out coralites. Currently I have acros, montis and some birdnest doing this. As long as the color is there and polyps are out I am none too concerned.

Highly likely. I am running 2 gen3 xr15s and a 39 inch ai grow, with an opposing jebao gyre scp90/nero5 on a 48x18x21. Have been muling over getting 2 more smaller wave makers but not sure where to put them for best effect.

I run the scp 120 in my tank 36 inches, found that the scp 90 was not that strong

I stand corrected, it is the 120 I have. What settings are you running? I am running pulse with 5 dots.

That's the one I have and had to pull due to a loud grinding sound that I haven't been able to sort out. I replaced it with a Nero 5 but would love to get it working again or another gyre.
