My babies

Guys o know there a dime a dozen but my Darwin and ocellaris pair marlin. (Black) and nemo are my babies. I love them dearly they did 3 months qt back in the spring and have ruled my Fluval 13.5 ever since. They have no idea I ordered a 65 gallon waterbox tank and will give them the ultimate setup in the new year !!

When you got the Darwin was it still a little orange then went full black? Or did you purchase it like that

Yes marlin my Darwin was not fully black he was dark Mocha and 6 months later he was jet black. Love his colours. Lol I mean hers. Now

I’ve been trying to get one but the black one I have is only a couple of months old and his mouth is still orange. Was yours like that?

Yes. He went from mocha to black and orange nose and after 6 months in total he. I mean now she went jet black and looks amazing. It’s crazy because the back wall of my tank is black so she disappears and all you see is white stripes moving around

Thank you so much, that’s why I was hesitant to get a captive bred one cause I heard the mouth nose area stays orange.
