I tried it all, FWD, Maricyn2, placing cages over them to keep the fish away, etc.

I do a QT and do all the drip acclimation etc. I had those 3 clams for at least 6 months probably closer to a year before they came down with the sickness.

They are from left, Squamosa from ORA, and both the Maxima's are from Viet Nam.

Everything carries parasites, it just takes a trigger object to get them sick.

You are definitely right about that, but some of the wild clams look so spectacular it's hard to pass up on them.
Unfortunately those are the ones you really need to quarantine and medicate prior to introducing to your home aquaria.
