I’ve got 2 tanks in my house I had two paired clown fish in one tank that I’ve had about a year hosting a large Malu nem and 2 in my other tank who are around 2 months old hosting a BTA. The plan was to add my older 2 and there big nem to the larger tank with the smaller clowns.. all was going well came home and the 2 older clowns have bullied the smaller ones out of there BTA and are hosting both nems while the 2 small clowns are swimming around the top of tank.. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yeah, that is the joy of keeping multiple pairs of clowns.....the smaller the tank, the worse it can be.

There’s enough anemones to go around I have 3btas and a large malu

just a quick google search would confirm that multiple clowns don't get along and will often kill the weaker clown. Clowns are very territorial and won't share their space with other clowns. What size is the tank?

When we had clowns in my tank, the bigger one would bully the smaller one. Pretty common for clownfish.

Thank you I knew there would be some territorial behaviours that’s why I added the big ones to the little ones tank along with there nem I added them to the opposite side of the tank I’m the dark the usual way to it but the big two went straight over pushed the small ones out of there nems

You're kind of at the minimum size to try and support two pairs.... And if the big ones were already aggressive I just don't think its going to work out. Probably would have needed to be a 6 foot long tank to give each pair its own space.
