Have you tried dosing amino acids ? I dose fuel and ME amino acids , after one month of use , the pinks and oranges are more noticeable .

I do use acropower twice a week,

I think my problem may lie with nutrients though

Are you nitrates and phosphates always going to 0 as well? My corals are doing the same , apparently there is a difference between browned out and tanned , tanned being caused by low nutrients thus giving a tan brown / pale coloration .

my colors never took off until i got phosphates and nitrates up... got rid of GFO and just started feeding heavily and BAM! If you go that route watch the ALK becuase your consumption will go up quick. Mine doubled in a week....

How did you deal with the algae after ? Lol

I fortified the clean up crew and still ran a small amount of chaeto in a fuge.. i just dial back the feeding once you get the numbers up. Daily reef roids / reef chili seemed to do the trick to get over the 0 hump.

I’m waiting on delivery of some re agents to test for nutrients, I will be swapping the media out this evening on some maintenance
