So I just wanted to start a thread to show some of my acro collection I have been hoarding, most are still frags but are coloring up very nicely I think. I hope to update every so often and show the growth and color progression. ANY comment or questions always welcome.

All of these have been under sb reeflights for the past 4-6 weeks...before that was just 1st Gen black box led's that the white channel croaked so I through the sb reef lights over it...I'm actually really impressed with these lights although I don't like the more purple color they emit with both channels on, I have 2 ati blue plus that I run to counter this but the bulbs are do for changing and are just in a aquatic life fixture I just threw in to counter the purple vho look frim these leds...thanks for the comment

That's good to hear because I'm going to grab some SB lights very soon my brother already has a set and I recommended them to him just based on the growth and color I've had with my mars aqua black boxes, but the SB lights are worth the extra money I give him a lot of frags from my tank and the color is much more vibrant under his SB s, anyway keep the collection going looks great

Yea man I would I am happy with them...I mean I would love some radion but everytime I think about how much they cost I'm like man I could get 2 more acros..lol. I have a lot more in the collection I'll be posting soon....

Radions are spendy.. and yeah it's funny to read that while you show off your million dollar frags!

@mtraylor aylor I run the blues for about 12 hours a day and the whites come on for about 5 hours a day and that's it...

@Joes Reef these pics were all taken with my buddies samsung galaxy s7 I was amazed at the picture quality as well

@Jeremy Luke see I did say i was an ac addict didn't I lol. I just can't say no too a nice acro but it's hard for me to spend that much money on a single light...plus I got a descent size system and that would take a lot of radions to cover properly....

@Joes Reef....I will have to check and see if my buddy had one on phone or not..I'm still in the stone age with the s5 lol..these pics are very good representation of true colors but I didn't see that he was using one when we took the pictures but I will ask and get back to you, I know when we were taking them I was amazed at how his phone could capture the colors cause I can never get mine to look real there always really washed out with the blue...I have been practicing with a dslr and hope to be shooting with that as the thread progresses..

@Vaughn17 ....tcsb us triton corals Santa Barbara, its a guy name henson that owns the shop,.. he is on fb to and has really nice stuff...I have gotten a lot of pieces from him and never once been dissapointed...the RRC Pink cadi came from him as well as a few more I haven't posted yet but will be posting soon as I can

I am lucky enough to live close enough to visit TCSB on a regular basis and his shop never disappoints. I saw the colony of 31 Flavors and it was incredible.

Great collection! Can you post a pic of your grow out system? Are you running alk in the 7-8 dKh range?

It is very fun to compare old pics to new, so these threads can be a great resource.
