I set these up maybe a month ago or less… Well, here they are! I keep them in my greenhouse, and I’m thinking we’re close to already needing to combine them into a larger container…
I’m also going to start trying to grow macros out here to see how they do - starting with Caulerpa sertularioides.

Also, I’m preparing a 3rd container to sit out here but this time trying to grow them in just the water - no algae or rock/coral skeletons to see what works best.

That is awesome! Do you just sit them out there and let the sun warm the water and promote algae growth?

Yep! Exactly what I do - not a single water change, just an addition of phyto every so often (infact, today is the first time since I set them up that I added phyto)

Here’s the 3 copepod cultures I have now got going, plus my new caulerpa cultivation trial!

I appreciate you posting this. I will give this a try!
No problem!
Definitely do, it’s so fun to watch the cultures as they grow. The best ways I’ve grown them is by having them near a light source (I’ve had success using a window before - but using the greenhouse I’ve found better success quicker), oh and obviously warmth is ideal! But it can vary from room temp (18°C/64.4°F) up to 27°C/80.6°F.

HOW MUCH DOES A FISH’S FEEDING REQUIREMENTS AFFECT YOUR STOCKING DECISIONS?
