Ammonia looks stuck. Might move my seneye over this week to see if shows a different number.

I found this led strip at a garage sale. It was built for boats. Magnetic back, super bright. $5. I love a great deal that works out. The guy said that his partner pulled out and now he had a box of 100. Need to find stronger Velcro to hold switch.

I excited to build the electronic and storage wings on this stand next week.

I figured out that I am going to mimic a boat build on the stand for the finish. I am going to use marine epoxy on plywood and then build it up with boat bottom paint. It should provide a very high gloss finish. I will use a router to round all the edges. Will probably work on this plan starting in the new year. It would be nice to quiet down the tank with closing it in.

Finished my stand 'wings' over the holiday. One will be for my electrical panel the other side will hold dosing jugs and storage drawers. Still need to seal them. Hopefully ill get time to work on the skinning next month or so. Too much work travel coming up. I hate when work gets in the way of reefing.

Little more work this weekend. Finished mounting my ATO on a piece of plywood and then fished my electrical panel wood working and moved my diy upflow algae scrubber. Ill have to upgrade it shortly. Get some LEDs and a bigger container. But my first 2 fish come in this week and I wanted the basics done.

This week was big milestone for the tank it got life. I added some ceirths from my QT, I add 3 fish, and a few other odds and ends. The fish are a lawnmower blenny, and 2 one spot foxface. In a couple of weeks the larger one will go into my Fowlr. I am really like how the weir for the fuge turn out. I ordered it off ebay from a person in England. Fit perfectly. I am thinking of adding another on the bubble trap to raise the water level a bit in the skimmer zone.

Been moving my corals over from 55. But I cant get the rba anemone to release. I have tried every trick. Tickle, ice, power head. Now I have it in a bucket trying to get it to release. No luck.

So bittersweet breaking down a tank. Bye bye 55. Will need to spend some time finding critters in the sand bed. I havent seen the brittle stars in a while. I hope they have multiplied in the sand bed.

Here is a full tank shot. Not very impressive. Been battling Vermitid snails in my coral QT so nothing has moved from there and I lost three zoas plus two acan in the move to this tank. I think my toadstool and gorgonian (back left most of behind rock) really have sprouted. Got a bit of cyano. Need to get the closed loop going to get more flow. I also need a better picture with clowns and bangaii are swimming. Maybe next time I feed.

So Murphy's Law. Figured out why I lost the Acans and Zoes. I ran out to Hanna Regents and my Nyos, while my Amazon reorder got lost across the US. I normally get my reef tank stuff at BRS, but I was ordering house stuff and threw it in. So I have been super stable for 2 months. The 2 weeks I was out of course and my phosphate and nitrates plummeted to 0 my alk jumped to 8.6. Started to see some dinos was my first indication. So now there is that to deal with.
