Just wow. Extremely clean and well packaged like a mad coral packaging scientist. Bounces arrived still bounced up!
I just moved them around to better spots in the table so dont mind that lack of small or bounciness lol!
All I have to say is thank you. I know I got some nice bounces here but I haven't seen the everse Maui Wowi in a long time!

ATO or Float Valve?
I have to tell you it's getting old maintaining salinity at proper level to say the least!
Had a problem with my used RO system I bought.
Have a 6 stage on the and it couldnt come fast enough.
Going to have it installed professionally because I'm not a plumber I found out. I can develop subdivisions just cant install an RO system lol no patience probably.
Anyhow what's your thoughts?
Less maintenance as possible.
Btw I built this little 24 sq.ft. frag table system for less than a grand using mostly hugely discounted barely used gear. Any question just ask hopefully I can help!

Interesting observation here. I decided to turn up my lamps a little bit on the mushroom tables.
Was running blues around 15% and whites as low as I could possibly get on this Chinese black box maybe 5% before it shut off.
Raised blues to around 35% and whites to 15% and instantly my bounces starting bouncing up.
Actually all my shrooms seemed to be ok with and like it all sprawled out.

Started this thread out as build cheap as I possibly could and used mostly second barely used gear at super discounted prices.
Got it done as pretty as it is not it was working. Stabilized I accomplished my goal.
However I have upgraded to heater controller and installed an rodi and float valve now to keep things on semi autopilot. The rest of the controllers will come lol.
Theres nothing like the swings of unplugging and forgetting to plug back in heater or remembering to turn on ro system and filling and watching all day.
Full time job I already have one that consumes most of my personal life I need this to be fun! So I had RODI professionally installed finally after 3 months of trying to work out the kinks and leaks!
Can sleep a little better tonight lol.
And the wife doesnt have to baby sit all day every day altho i think she enjoys it now!

Hey All got this thing dialed. Zero swings within a 1 degree F.
Salinity staying on point at 1.025 since I set up the new rodi and float valve on reservoir.
Got alk down to 11% and going to gradually get it to 9 found out my old ro system was producing 6% all @118 ppm out of the system. That's what I get for not checking.
Nitrates are low pretty much undetectable after last water change, dosing amino acids and feeding my hermit crabs nice big shrimp dinner till I get them back up.
Phosphates are also super low sitting at 0.25.
Anyhow heres a few pictures. This poletti jawbreaker is getting big and moving around quite a bit. Starting to get some good streaks going as well at least it's much more pronounced as it's getting acclimated to my set up.
And a few more pix of some of my favorites.
I want to call this black hole. Black mushroom with crazy white speckles!

Yes it did. Its loving the lamp settings and probably almost as big as 50 cent piece fully laid out basking in it. Seeing lots of red coming in as well. This seems to be a super hardy mushroom and going to grow like crazy!

I've been playing with this pro camera mode on my galaxy 9 trying to get it dialed. Seems like it's all about the Lighting and Macro mode. I like to take pictures of my shrooms as they look under the lamps. No filters. Feel like I'm getting it dialed in.... Kinda

Some random Sunday afternoon shots!
Really digging this Poletti JB it's getting all kinds of red and some are starting to streak. Turned off my Flow the other day and Target feed her and go a great response! I'll get pictures next time for sure.
Was cleaning my racks the other day and accidentally tore off a piece off my Toxic Bounce as I didnt realize it was stuck to rack! But was well footed and looks like it's going to heal and give me another baby!

Also wanted to add I've been feeding my shrooms mysis shrimp so far I have only gotten the Bounces and Ricordea to eat to date.
This guy here is starting already starting to bounce new bubble 2 days after mysis.

Yup still all mushroom dominated as a matter of fact I think I'm going to unload my Zoas and just go full blown mushroom garden!

Way excited to be adding a bunch of Jawbreakers to the line up. Going to be interesting to see the differences between these and the Poletti Lineage Jawbreaker I already have!

Quick update. I got some sodium nitrate to raise my nitrates and hope it combats the ugly nuisance algae that's sprouted up. Was sitting at zero now at 5ppm.
Added a few turbos as well.
Anyhow this Poletti JB is starting to get lots of red in it and has a greenish colored cap
As opposed to the others with more orange colored cap.
Also picked up this guy reminds me of cotton candy.
