Ive desired to start a decent and recent discussion on my dosing experience. from my experience its been trial and error, ive started with smaller doses and went higher or lower as needed and im still trying to get the numbers i want. heres my test from today
Cal 410 varied dosing starting 10ml a day to get to 420
Mag1245 up from 1170 3 days ago with 5ml a day dose
dKH 10.4 high i know how do i bring it down or is it just high because of the mag and cal dosing
Ph 8.0
N03 10
every thing is ok no3 and dKH could come down. what are some ways to bring it down?? the dkh?? thanks and i will keep things updated every 3 days or so with test results and amounts dosed

over the past 3 days ive done a water change with petco salt and have not dosed as my DKH and ph where being funny heres my test results
Cl-400
Mg-1200
DKh-10.6
ph-8.0
No3-5
Alk is still high what are ways to bring it down thx for the help and i will continue to update every 3 days

I would check the parameters on the water you are mixing for your WC's.If the alk is high you may want to try a different salt mix.

idk why but my alk keeps climbing i haven't been dosing or done a water change and it still went up. pleas help with this someone. its really confusing me. thx

time to update this bad boy!! lol i took about 1 month and a half to let the alk and other things reset themselves for lack of a better term. this also allowed my system to stabilize. I been dosing for 2 days with B-Ionics alk and cal at the recomended dose and will test every 3 days till the chemical levels are where they need to be at. also whats a good product for doseing magnesium oh: ? so heres the levels
Cal 380
Alk 7.6
Mag 1265

im going a paus to see how much is consumed per period whats a good wait for that i dosed for 4 days so i was thinking of waiting for 4 days as well
