About 2 weeks ago my Duncan colony stopped opening up. Normally they would be open during the day and closed an night. I had them in the middle of the tank under 250 14k's for a long time and they thrived there.... I moved them lower and they still aren't opening. Should I try shading them? The colony has about 40 heads. thanks in advance!

You can try that, do you feed them with mysis? Mine are snadbed under the same lighting, about 18 in down.

I don't spot feed them, but i feed the fish mysis and flakes and the Duncans have no problem getting scraps.... the polyps are huge!! (when they're open)

it's possible.... it is the farthest away from the Vortech... but it was happy in that same spot for so long
