Ok, so here is my first attempt at a reef tank. It doesn't hold a candle to much of what I am seeing here. It is a 65 gallon column with a home made sump (29 Gallon tank). Been doing fresh water for 30 years, but never tried saltwater. It is a work in progress and I only have some small frags with a few fish in the aquarium currently. Been up for 3 months now.

65 gallon aquarium
Current Marine Pro 36" light
60 pounds dry rock
60 pounds live sand
Eshopps overflow/tubing/filter sock/and return nozzle
Bubble Magus V Protein skimmer
Aquatop 18 watt inline UV
Aquatop Small Carbon reactor
Jebao rw-8 wavemaker with controller
Rio plus 850 return pump
colbolt heater (x2)
JBJ Magnetic Refugium Light
