Here is my first dip into the marine aquarium world. I have had a couple of freshwater tanks before but always was scared off doing a marine. It's been a pretty fun ride thus far and seems to have gone really well. Below are some pics. Goes against what most will say about doing things too quickly, but it's worked out for my tank thus far.

Really looking forward to next looking while!

Beautiful tank!
Thanks Leslie [emoji3] it was a few months of planning and then a few months of waiting for the tank and equipment to arrive. Cycled with Dr Tim's (best thing ever) and a lot of support from my LFS Gallery Aquatica (best corals in Brisbane)

Excellent job on the aquascaping!! :)
Thanks reefer! Took a few weeks and there is still room for adding more height if I needed and the scape is in 4 sections so not too difficult to move bits around. Still have a box full of real reef rock and some plates to use if I get the squascape itch!

How do you like the gyre? Do you feel you get flow all through? It is so nice and open with lots of swim room.

Gyre is amazing. Unfortunately I don't have the experience that others have with using all different types of equipment; but it is truly phrnomenal. I have mine set to the low tide high tide cycle and top at 80% and low at 20% and there are huge amounts of water being pushed around. There is a mix of LPS and some SPS frags and the balance seems to be good for the corals and fish. Would highly recommend buying a set of you are thinking about it [emoji3]
