My first reef, Fluval Evo

This is my first post on R2R, I just thought I’d share my Fluval Evo V for inspiration to anybody else trying to start a nano reef.

I started this tank in March of 2018, always wanted to try a reef and this is my first attempt. Very satisfied with how well it has turned out considered I haven’t tested the water at all, just weekly 50% water changes, no algae problems or anything.

Upgrades:
-Return pump upgraded
-Current USA loop system light and wave pump

Livestock:
-ocellaris clown
-skunk cleaner
-2 hermits and 3 snails

Coral:
-6 zoa frags
-red monti cap
-red digi
-purple stylo
-GSP
-mushrooms
-devils hand
-Hollywood stunner chalice

Nice set up ! I just got mine going . Everything is stock as of now, what pump did you upgrade too? Also where did you get those tiny single frag racks?

I used the AQ600 I believe it’s called, there’s a link below. I had to modify it a bit though by taking off part of the casing and shaving part of it down. I think there’s other options like the cobalt mini 606

And I got the frag racks off eBay but honestly I wouldn’t recommend them because they’ve fallen apart multiple times due to bad adhesive.
