Hey guys! I am 1week into my cycle process now! Amazing amounts of help and information in this community that made my first attempt possible! I've had most of the equipment for a while and have been slowly gathering the rest until a few weeks ago I git my recirculation pump and I'm off! Its a 56 gallon reef ready tank, one set of evolution LEDs, mix of Tonga, Fiji, and various other rocks, sand is admixture of fine grain black and mostly white araganite,(about 4-5 inches deep) a 20 gal high sump, running a fluval sea protein skimmer, with a mag 5 return. Just discovered my first diatom bloom yesterday, my water parameters check out. Super stoked to start adding fish when the cycle is complete!
