There is only one issue dosing directly from the product container with this pump I sent him.
This doses 24 hours a day down to .1ml a minute.
In order to keep o2 from building up in the cassettes the rate needs to be more than 2ml a minute so dilution of 1,2 and 3 is needed.
For instance I dose 3.5ml a minute and my dilution is 1 liter of product to 2 liters of rodi for my 80 gallons of volume.
Ahhhh, understand

My 2 fish have been finished with copper for 12 days now. 10 more days until I can add them back t o the DT. If running a 76 day fallow period doesn't grow you some patience I don't know will. It's been a long and expensive learning experience.

Got it. When you post since I am watching this thread it is supposed to notify me, and it is not. I am see this post for the first time. Like the magnets and this helps out a lot with how I am going to make the shelf.

I was also here to say my yellow strip maroon clown stripes are changing to yellow. then I started looking around for another maroon clown and saw one of these bad boys

It's been a crazy 76 days trying to save fish and losing most of them... but now I'm on the other side. I've learned many lessons during this time period and will QT everything from now on. This time has given me time to add many corals and perfect my husbandry practices. Here's my first video of this tank!

Since I've added my clownfish and engineer goby back, I'm having a small brown film and hair algae bloom. I just siphoned part of the sand bed and did a water change. Toothbrush for the small patches of hair algae w/ high flow to flush down t he over flow. The fish were shy for a couple of days but are now getting used to this coral and flow wonderland. Also I'm trying out Rod's original reef blend for the fi rst time. My fish and coral now eat the same stuff. Life is good :)

Got a sick yelliw tail damsel from a local to try to save. Looks like ich and malnourished.

I know damsels are hardy fish, so I'm expecting a success story. This will be my first fish rehab that is from an outside source.

I know you will have success. When you get Old yeller fix, he will be a good addition to your tank

I added a platinum and premium picasso clown last night. I'm really digging the Quatro in the tank right now. It's fib to see the white boys fight over the female's affection. Today I checked my water and my Alk is up to 9.9, so I'll disk that down over the next couple of weeks. Did my second water change with the aquaforest reef salt and I can see a difference already. To wrap thing up, I did my first rewritten pump vinegar bath. I never thought this pump could get do natty in 5 months of operation. PSA, clean your pumps regularly! And I cleaned my skimmer outside of the sump for a nice overhaul. Breakfast burritos for dinner ;)

I tested my Mag this weekend and it was a bit low. Alk was a bit high. I cut back on my kalk dose and manually am bringing mag up to 1400. here's how everything measured up.
Alk 9.9
Calc 440
Mag 1230
NO3 2.5-5
PO4 .055

I took GFO, GAC, and purigen offline last week, but added GFO only back in.

Now I can look at my candy cane colony to tell if something is off in my tank. I only check Alk once a week unless something looks off like it did 2 weeks ago.

Did my second WC w/ Aquaforest reef salt. Man oh man does this salt mix up in about 5 minutes and I think my corals are digging it.

4 clowns and an engineer goby is my current stock. For the clowns I have a percula, platinum, picasso, and premium picasso. The engineer goby is about 8 inches long. Time to treat for cyano again via @twilliard peroxide technique. 1 ml/10 gallons of system volume every 12 hours when lights are out for 2 weeks.

Hey @cowboy here's my tank progress thread in case you wanted to check it out. Have a nice work week everyone!

Looking good man hit up the fish tank in Hobbs for that lightning he's got 2 in Stock right now. They don't have the perfect bolts like that one but one looks killer.
