My first Vivarium

I want to get one of these goign again and got really interested in the bonsai idea.

can you put the popular bonsai tree in a vivarium?

you know like the karate kid kind?

do you know the name of this kind?

It seems people were probably expecting the karate kid kind of bonsai tree. There's a ton of different bonsai trees though. The most common i see are Juniper, Ficus and the hawaiian Umbrella. The "Karate Kid" bonsai tree is most likely of the family of Juniper's. I do not think they would be able to handle the high humidity. It would be neat to try, i specifically picked a ficus though because i've heard they will not rot.

1. What type of research did you do as far as environment recreation and humidity control?

2. What is the up-keep on something like this?

3. Do these little guys lead a healthy life span in captivity?

4. What type of food do they eat?
