Yep -- I've got some pretty smart fish. They can't see the clock in my office (and I don't think they have a watch) -- but they sure can tell time!!! ;)
I've been feeding my fish on a pretty regular schedule -- I made a feeding tube where I place the flakes/pellets/frozen food, etc. Everyday at the time I usually feed them -- I find them hanging around the feeding tube -- even if they can't see me.
  • Conditioning is a very cool thing -- Pavlov proved that many years ago.

I've got a long nose hawk that hangs out on the right side of the tank. At dinner time he goes to the left side whether I'm ready to feed or not because I always feed the left side first. I might change things up tonight just to mess with his head. Does that make me a bad person?
