I wanted to know that toWhat are we looking at?
I have my concrete aquarium, which is on groundfloor level. What are we looking at?
No, it’s a window light to the skyIs that a skylight above the tank?
This is indeed a big tank, but I'm modest. This is the most impressive build ever!
You don’t have to tell me. I’ve got a 600 gallon full reef and it takes a pile of money and time to keep things happy. I’m not jeolous at all lol. A 600 gallon is more than enough for me. One thing I know from experience keeping a big tank is I would have had an intake for overflow near the bottom of the tank as well as the surface. It makes filtering much easier and more effective. With only surface return all the crap needs to rise to the surface to enter the filtration. With a feed near the bottom the dirt doesn’t have to rise up and gets drawn into the filtration a lot easier. There is a way you could easily modify your corner overflows to accomplish this if you’re interestedThis is indeed a big tank, but I'm modest.
This is just the cheap part, building it.
So at this point, nothing to be jaelous about.
Maintaining the aquarium, and keeping fish and corals healthy long-term, will require a lot more effort.
You are funny guy aren’t youNo, it’s a window light to the sky
