How much was he? I got my original one half a year ago for $15 so I wasn’t looking to spend more than $30 but everywhere seems to be asking at least 45!!I bought him at Top Shelf Aquatics on Aloma!
Thank you so much! I got it as a 16th birthday present back in Feb of this year. Traded a sweet 16 party for it and have no regrets!! I put my heart and soul into this thing and I’m glad that other people think it’s just as awesome as I do!Your tank is gorgeous!!!! #tankgoals

Don’t have gravel, a pain to clean. So I’m starting a zoa/rock flower garden to cover the bottom instead! I think it’s much cooler than sand/gravel could ever beI too have the same tank-love it. Where's your gravel(I know where mine is-in the garbage can).

I have a build thread for it, and it’s definitely okay! I’ve got a whole lot of advice. My dad worked in an LFS for 10 years and has been reefing for 30. He’s the one who first imported SPS to Houston to sell it and was personal friends with Julian Sprung and some other folks at the Waikiki aquarium. I’ve even got the whole Reef Aquarium series by Julian Sprung and Charles Delbeck signed. Definitely recommend reading that, helped a ton with understanding water chemistry. I’ve been keeping tanks since I was 3 (mostly just fed them and helped with water changes at that point). I now manage 3 reef tanks and 5 FW tanks in my house. I have a coral feeding/placement thing written up if you’d like to see that.Awesome! Hey I’ll take any tips and/or advise you can throw my way. This is new to me. Zoas spread on sand too, I’m trying to make zoa gardens on the sand a thing, a lot of people don’t want zoas because they’re hard to remove from rocks and can take over but they’re easily removed from glass and sand and can be used to make a quick buck! They also provide a use for the sand bed area that would otherwise be mostly unused real estate.Nice. I have live sand.. but a thin layer
