What’s your favorite Goni Steve?
Well right now my new ones! But my holy grail personally would be Red Glitterbomb. Had a regular one but it recently died. And this guy that I can’t remember the name of but recently with the lighting and flow changes has really started to look happy.

I love the Duncan’s! Any tips you could give me?
Don’t know exactly what to say except, keep ‘em low in low-moderate flow and moderate light. They also like solid food a few times a week. I use Marine Cuisine, Emerald Feast and Mysis(all frozen food) , basically what the fish eat. Crazy hardy, one of the 2 is one of my first corals, came from PetCo with 2 polyps back in October 2021.

A new set of pics. I got my the Tunze 6040 operational again and have been slowly ramping the blues. Right now peak is 65% , with whites at 1% and reds/green running at around 10 or so. The bluer tank shot was last night with no whites running

Well my tank looked pretty crappy, lots of algae. Did a bunch of plucking and some scrubbing. Had to do a water change as well, had a bottle of Vibrant that I bought before the hullabaloo and never used and I’m tossing it out cause my corals seemed to hate it . Just about 2 hours later they were semi retracted in many cases. Don’t know if it was the cause but not taking chances. One good thing, I found out where my long missing Nem was hanging out.

Looks like the cuc members are starting to actively do the job I hired them for. I figure one more small/medium purchase at ReefCleaners after my next paycheck might be enough for most of it. Definitely want another one or two turbo snails. Those things are lawnmowers. Also everything looks pretty happy. Did my once a week big feed of a frozen mix of mysis, Emerald Feast, and Cyclopid . And then gave a half/half targeted broadcast feed of Goniopower. My new Glitter Tip Gonis are looking good. About time to find a more permanent home probably. Here’s a gif vid of my tank this morning and the bta. Can’t see it too well, but at least it’s alive and found a happy spot.

New additions came today from Pieces of the Ocean auction. Poci and Acro. FedEx almost killed them by initially delaying the delivery til tomorrow when I won’t be home til late night. But came through for me when I called them and they sent them out on an afternoon run.

New full tank plus xtras. Move the Poci and new Acro into position. Both responding favorably to new locations. My new Glitter Tip Gonis are rapidly becoming favs, as they’ve generally been nice and extended pretty much since day one. And they’re such a vibrant color overall.

That pavona is going to look amazing when it fills out. Everything else too, but my eyes are always drawn to a fully grown mint potato chip pavona in any tank, no matter what other OG HG corals they have.
I moved it down from the frag rack on the left, as soon as I did that it was 100% happier. Just need a more permanent home.

I've been surprised by how well they can bounce back. Had a pair of rogue sexy shrimp shave mine down to basically the base. After removing the sexies and trying a few spots, it greened up again and has been growing and twisting nicely!

I'm amazed by how much coral fits in the SR60.

Minor update. Been working on manual removal of algae as well as trying to direct my snails to the trouble spots the last couple of days. Things are looking pretty good this day. This Friday(payday lol) I’m going to order some extra cuc including a cuke or two. Maybe a sifting starfish, my sand is probably dirty enough for it.
