I have a leopard wrasse that has a small portion of it's back fin missing I think it might be fin rot but I'm not 100% sure 20230202_153146.jpg

How long have you had it? Any aggression from other fush towards him? Amy new additions?

No aggression that I have seen the leopard wrasse has been in the tank for about 5 days

It doesn’t look too serious to me…..as long as the aggression doesn’t keep happening.

Any chance the tail was damaged when transferred to the DT? Sometimes, such damage isn't noticed right off. Aggression is the most likely.

Put your smartphone camera on video and leave the tank area. Record a 30+ min video. Be sure you have totally left the area so that this and any other fish, sees no one. Then check it out. You can do the same video recording just after adding food to the tank. Add food. Go away. Often the aggressor will be more aggressive during feeding when no one is in sight.

If the aggression is removed and the fish is eating as best it can according to the Fish Nutrition post, it may take months for the fin to grow out.

Well he is eating normally but I will do that that is a great idea thanks I will leave it recording
