This is my second tank. It is a IM Nuvo 20 AIO. I have about 2 inches of sand and a few rocks. I am currently running a Kessil A80 on it with several mangrove pods floating on top. The tank is technically still cycling, I used Microbacter XLM again. It worked great last time.
I haven't decided on the wave pumps as of yet. I still need to research how much flow is needed for mangroves. I plan on keeping only one in the tank and haven't decided if I will also grow any corals. I don't plan on any filtration, just a CUC of mostly crabs and a shrimp or two. I will most likely add a caramel clown or two as well. I am wanting a very simple, low maintenance tank.

The cycle is going well, and a few of pods are showing good root growth. I have a dog food container coming in soon that I will use to hold RODI for the ATO, a Tunze Osmolater Nano. This tiny little tank evaporates a lot of water. I am shocked. I have a very long light cycle right now, but I also have a CUC coming in soon so not too worried about algae. Might add a clown next week. Still deciding, but I have decided to go with soft corals and gorgonians and sponges.

Finally added the ATO, a Tunze Nano, this weekend. An amazing amount of water evaporates daily. I used a Gamma vittles locker for the Ato container. I got the one that holds around 10 gallons of water. The trees are doing ok I think. A few of them have small roots starting to grow. I have some planted tank substrate that I will add next weekend. It should increase the NO3. I will do the first water change right before I add the substrate.

I am doing basically zero maintenance on this tank. I feed once a day and fill the ATO res every other week. I have done a grand total of 2 water changes. I am about to add the leather from my other tank. Before I do that I will do a large WC and vacuum the sand very well. There are 2 small wave pumps and an ATO. I run filter floss and change out twice a week. I am running a Kessil A80. I will turn it up to a 100%. I am hoping that will enough. I have a zoa garden growing in my main DT. I am having a huge bacterial issue in it. I am debating moving that rock over as well. I can then dose that tank with flux and not have any corals I would be upset about if I were to lose them.
There is basically 0 algae in the Mangrove tank. I have to feed the lawnmower blenny. I want to move him to my main DT, but I have a BiColor Blenny in there. I am still debating if I want to switch the fish.
The only other plan I am thinking about is putting one mangrove on each side of the tank. I would have to then change around the lights.
