Well I have a scratched up IM 30L that I setup for a qt in my office that I decided to make a macro tank. I sit here all day with this tank running and nothing really in it so I have been kicking around ideas. I've been wanting to add an angler at some point but until then I decided I'll stock it with macro.
I run Triton on my 130g so I've been trying to collect as much different types of algae I can to keep the refugium stocked. This will help with that and give me maybe something else to sell besides coral.
So the tank is an old IM 30L that got all scratched up somehow when my mother came out to the house to watch it for us when we went on vacation.
Lighting is a spare Ecotech XR15.
no real filtration just a couple sponges I threw in from my huge when I was running it as a QT.
Flow is provided by the return and a spin stream.
So here is where I am, just starting thanks to a killer pack from @_divad and a couple pieces I already had.
Hopefully I'll get some nice growth.
Please share your tanks and experience with this process.
