My Miami vs Crazy Fox characteristics

got ya, red pink whatever.

My recomendation is to move them to lower light and try and get the bases to shift a little, then you should be able to tell them apart.

nicks 387 the my miami also has a hint of green in the eye

I wouldn't doubt it, I have just never been able to see it, I have seen eyes that are still maturing on my crazy fox show green or yellow tint. Other then that though, the mature eyes look the same to me on both pieces.

Sorry, I just looked on the link you bought them from and its clear they were mixed up from the start.
You can clearly see the 2 eye frag he sold you as crazy fox has the blue color base and the frag he called My Miami is purple. Even has a hint of green in the eye.
So in summary, yes the first is My Miami and second in your pics is crazy fox.....For sure.

Yeah, I was just going to say they even look mislabeled in the original for sale thread u linked. I'm with everyone else, they look mixed up to me.

I think yall solved the mystery buy I agree. The crazy fox should have multi colored body and eyes. Look at WWC's pic. 1rst, MM, 2nd,CF

I was at fox's house yesterday there is a DISTINCT difference.

I don't think anyone said there is not a difference between the two pieces. There clearly is a difference. However, if you have both of them and have had them both long enough and have moved them around to different positions in the tank and lighting, then as the pictures above have showed, they can develop simillar characteristics. hence the mix up that occured in the first place.

I think I have to disagree, I have both and I say first one is Crazy fox and second is My Miami
Crazy fox gets a ring of blue before the rim and the MM can get purple under T5's
Forget the eyes, if you have them you know that in person the eyes look the same on both. I would move one of them to different light then the other to see if they change the shade of the base, the my miami can shift from blue to purple under certain spectrums. I can dig up some pics of my MY Miami and show how the base can shift to purple, where the crazy fox will not shift to a solid blue base.
Good answer. to me they look too similar
