I'm definitely going to use this point to get my wife on board. I'm currently building a 93 cube and she isn't thrilled about it Lol ( I am).

Oh very much so! That's where we find him when go's crawling off

That's awesome. He looked very relaxed starring into your aquarium.

I don't have kids yet, but my family has lots of them. They love bringing their kids over to see the tank. They will just watch it all day; mostly in silence :)

The silence is the best part. LOL

Looks great! Kids do love a SW tank! And long daily walks will stop the dog pacing (that's usually pent up energy) ☺

We take the dog on bike rides in the cooler months it's too hot in the summer. A walk around the block in the summer and she's happy to be inside.

I love it great reason for a tank for sure...my kids are big now but my godson loves watching my tank so I know for sure it can make a baby stop crying...your tank is looking good

Thank you very much.

Awesome Tank & story.

Thank you and your welcome. As far as forums go, I guess I could of went to the library for books back then but I was lazy LOL.

I'm definitely going to use this point to get my wife on board. I'm currently building a 93 cube and she isn't thrilled about it Lol ( I am).

It will get her on the same page about the build. As far as your wife goes all I can say is that me and the kids are into it but my wife well..... The tank can be green and she wouldn't notice it. Not that she don't appreciate it but she's not into it like me and the kids.

It's truly been the longest wait ever. But, It's all good. Saturday will be 30 days. The issue was explained and things do happen so another week won't kill me.

Extra Extra Lights are in!
And there in the Aquarium.

Really expensive well thought out hanging kit used in my canopy. Originally thought Aluminum rails welded into a box shape to mount the to. Then though K.I.S.S. JK.... I always try and make things as simple as possible. Chain and hooks less than 5 dollars. Works awesome. Here we go......

Grrrr... Ich is now an issue. Trying to get everything dialed back in and back up and running. Trying to make the changes a little at a time. Now my Gobies are covered in ich. Treatment is Kordon Ick Attack and daily feedings. Removed the Gobies they are currently Quarantined in an Ebola tank. I would imagine because they burrow they got the worst of it. All others are in much better condition.

Sick Engineers need opinions. 1

Kordon Ich Attack
Stress guard antiseptic
10 Gallon tank
heater rock and PVC pipe
Daily 1.5 Gallon Water changes
One seems to be in ICU while the other seems much better.
Based on the video Do you think they will make it. The one in the pipe when out just spins.
So I put a basket in there to keep reduce the space and keep him grounded per say.
The healthier one is still eating and the ICU one did not eat today. Has been eating every day prior.
They have been in Quarantine since Monday 11/3/14

That DIY overflow caused some issues big time. Lost suction it overflowed. Then got that cleaned up started to drain it then the sump overflowed (my fault). Cracked the sump during the craze. Skimmer was off for a month and was trying to figure out what to do. Glad to say it's all up and running again. I had some Acrylic cut waiting on it so I can replace the plastic bin. Other than that its all up and running. Got a sea hare and some turbo snails also a Lawnmower Blenny to help battle the algae.
Pond is done 100% going through it's cycle. Green water yay!

New Set up till acrylic arrives.

Stopped being lazy and drilled the tank. No more drain issues!

I can't keep any sand sifter type fish alive. What can be in the sand that ends them? Been through two lawnmowers, a couple engineer gobies never any luck. What can I look for?
