WP_20201231_19_17_44_Pro.jpg
Yes give it a shot. May take a cpl feedings to get them eating. Turn off flow as good as you can. Spot feed the caps they should either cup or close up entirely. Sometimes immediately. I have green jb totally closing up now during feeding time. Discos don't typically close for me tho just cup up like they are reaching for the sun:)

@fishguy242 I'm using a reef roids/ab+ mix now spot feeding. Should be totally fine with just the roids tho.
Here's how my discos usually look when I hit them with roids.

She ended up totally closing last time though probably cause she was super hungry and making a baby idk:)

The wife decided it was time to feed shrooms. She would feed the daily if I went along with it. But trying to minimize feedings to once a week or right before water changes when I shut flow completely off and do my table cleaning maintenance. Totally slacking with holidays been wanting to get things rearranged for awhile now but should have the time here this coming week:)
Reef Roid/ AB+ mushroom feeding frenzy lol. Some of the babies are no bigger than sharpie tip and are eating/ totally balled and closed up hungry little guys especially the neptune and gonzo babies:)

That little egg crate blob is growing fast!! It looks like a proper shroom now!
It is. And its already eating reef roids. Going to be cool to see what it shapes up to be from just a little runt to full size shroom in my system and parameters. If I didn't accidentally tear the original mom off the rack it looks like she would have made a perfect star of bouncing bubbles all the way around her cap:)

Interesting I would have guessed at Electus on that guy. I honestly can't comment on color as my JB totally morphed to green from the original orange JB color in my system. Yours kinda looks like its doing the same. Maybe it is lighting.
What kind of par are they sitting under?
Where's your No3 and Po4 at?
There's gotta be something to it and probably a correlation of these things.
I can say mine is just keeping the color and getting more vibrant as it goes.
Super hardy as well been with me from the beginning:)

Under 100-125par now but was under a lid for a good month getting maybe 50 par since coraline grew all over the plastic lid hahah

Po4 is .03-.1 depending on if taking test after water change or after feeding lol but we test it daily and it is usually around .07 in the morning.

No3 is a problem we are working on. At 50ppm now but we have cut feeding a bit and are going to change our hospital sump into a fuge to try and help with that. We had nem that we are healing but it's almost ready to go back in the tank.

Alk is is 8.2-8.6 daily

A little off balance but we are working on it hahah

Super close parameters far as par and po4. Need to check No3 but been pretty consistent around 15-20 for several months now. Should probably check po4 while I'm at it. Should be closer to .1 now ish

Literally just went to check the nem and a chocolate star ATE him!

Pulled the star off of where the nem usually is and mush.

I never knew stars would do that to a nem.

It was almost fully recovered....only about a half dollar size but dang :(
