@F i s h y I have some really cool nems on gulf rock that I kept around. Not the pretty ones. Just gnarly beast @Eagle_Steve type. Small size shrimp eating ones that the wife also loves and feeds with her chopsticks.

@DiefsReef very soon my friend just need babies to step it up a notch.
So far so good I have a bunch of boogers already starting to look like shrooms.
I may or may not get 100% on all the boogers just to early to tell. If I do awesome. If not I really won't be surprised. Was more of experiment, basicly used same knife on all cuts, took glued some rubble with just the faintest bit of flesh.
Lots of things I can do to tighten up procedure to ensure much better success next time.
Here's the babies and some other shots I took yesterday. Does look like baby minecraft is starting to show a little green

Hilarious man. Idk how your reading my mind but thats exactly what I was thinking.
I literally took that toxic baby I sent you. Put it in light right next to mom and it grew to the size it was in only a few months. You ever find it?
Unfortunately no. When velvet hit the dt, I had to clear out the bow front as the hospital tank. I very carefully removed each rock piece by piece inspecting in the water under the light then took a long while meticulously searching the sand bed for any sign. At that point, I had fish dying in the other tank and just had to proceed with the rip clean.
There is still a minute option that it is connected to the bottom of the frag rack which I haven't looked under but I'm not banking on that at all.

For sure man but once established they really do take off. I think it depends on shroom honestly.Its changing color! Definitely looks like its been shrinking but I'm not worried about that. Its crazy how long this takes.
Was just talking to sauce about the toxic I sent him went from booger to almost quarter size in about 3 months in my system.
I'm going to move mine into better light this after noon.

Some reefers Og never split or make babies. If you can get that one to grow and continue to frag successfuly you may have figured out a huge piece to that puzzle. Especially considering the fact I believe these boogers are closest thing you can get to natural split.

Would be great to find a good source for nice healthy cuts.
Some reefers Og never split or make babies. If you can get that one to grow and continue to frag successfuly you may have figured out a huge piece to that puzzle. Especially considering the fact I believe these boogers are closest thing you can get to natural split.

If they don't melt on me too! Wasnt looking to hot this morning I'm sure it will come back but sometimes these shrooms can be way to finicky. Gonna transfer to the frag tank as soon as its looking good. I got this one for a steal almost a year ago and hasn't done much on it own. Grows then shrinks than grows. At least I have a frag of it already. And I definitely know what you mean, if i can find the proper conditions for them to grow quickly ill be in the money! But its not just that its about having a good time aswell. Thank you brother

I think it comes down to if you start with Garbage your going to end up with Garbage. OG is probably the most commercially farmed/fragged out shroom there is at this point.
Mostly cut and grown in unsatisfactory conditions im sure.
Only takes one bad apple to get passed on and fragged then you have a bunch of bad apples all the way down the line.
