That's an interesting approach to the idea of a lid. How easy is it to get off when you need to work in the tank?

Thanks I hate screen tops but know that if I want to keep certain fish and don't have one I'm risking finding them on the floor. Yes it has happened.....I figure that if they can jump that high I lose and I will take my chances. The acrylic sides and back slide out from the top. Made a mistake in the back because of the wall but have it fixed and just need to finish the trim up

It's kind of like a clear and topless canopy! I'd like to see the finished product. ;)

So basically, instead of an actual top/cover, you erected hockey arena type glass to keep the fish from jumping out.
Interesting. I assume the panels are easily removable for access. cool idea!

Yea just slide the panels up and out if I need to work but for feeding I have a block that's about 5" that I just put in the back panel to hold it up.
