Quick drop for now over morning break at work until I can make a full build thread update over lunch hour:
Tiny (~1.5") Auriga butterflyfish is transferred over to the 30g and is loving it so far!

These darn videos never work on my iPhone!!!

Sorry, it is probably because I am embedding directly to R2R servers rather than through a secondary sharing source.

Maybe a picture will work for you instead:

If anyone wants to have a cyber pop at me please do it on my journal so I know where I got banned.

Forgive the newbie - What’s a “cyber pop”?

No, they will eat anemones and coral polyps. They are one of the hardier butterflyfish and typically eat frozen/flake/pellet foods pretty well.

I've heard of some who keep them in a reef tank (which is better for the butterflyfish than only FOWLR), but it puts corals at risk. I've seen videos from some who culture aiptasia anemones in a separate tank in order to spot-feed them to the butterflyfish in the main reef tank. Not many people intentionally add aiptasia to their reef tanks!

But isn’t that what these threads are all about?
It really depends on context. There is a lot of playful jesting giving people a hard time, but it is done by those who know each other and have inside information. I think nobody here actually intends to be insulting or give someone a hard time.

Those of us that are newer do best to just read and learn the community members rather than jump in too quickly with the jesting without actually knowing the others.
