WHAT... looking for a 500 gallon tank???Good Morning Franks thread
Been working on basement and sump tank stands. Seems I always tend to over engineer but guess thats good in the long run. can prolly put a 500 gallon tank on a stand made for a sump
NO!!WHAT... looking for a 500 gallon tank???
The only issue I see with that is if you get an air lock when the pump shuts down. Can it prime itself?I have a question Frank, my original sump plan was to use an old tank and drill. Since i'm going from basement to upstairs I already bought a PanWorold 150 external pump but now 6 months later I got that pretty Trigger sump and I dont want to drill it. Will a piece of pipe running up from bottom of the sump to pump outside work? Or do you think it
will require internal pump?
Yeah I'm not sure and not sure I want to get it all ready for water then have to wait a week again for another pump if it doesn't work. I really wanted a controllable DC pump anyway. The only issue I see with that is if you get an air lock when the pump shuts down. Can it prime itself?
That scares me;Nailbiting I would be waaay upset to kill a 1K sumpboth questions, not yet but soon ,running late
from my exp with the pan worlds it will have enough water to reprime ,but suggest ,drill it.. do a few practice holes on spare acrylic first
you cannot kill it...even if you ...and you won't...crack it it can be welded, with weld onThat scares me;Nailbiting I would be waaay upset to kill a 1K sump
