I have dipped zoa frag plugs in hydrogen peroxide that was diluted in tank water and it makes the algae melt away in a few days. First time I dipped the whole zoa and it really made them mad so then I just dipped the plug. I dont have a problem with hair algae or other algae on the plugs just bubble algae but I am going to dip all the plugs and see what happens did not think about that I just manually remove the bubble algae every couple of months or so when I start seeing more bubble algae than zoas :/I honestly don't know and am asking. I've read that people do that. I've got a few zoa's who's plugs could use some work so wanted to learn. Yours looks great
they were in too deep? dip missed em?? think this just made me relocate a few to different tank..Fragged a big Goni colony that seemed to be on deaths door step and found these weird worms
You might want to check the bottom of them in case...they were in too deep? dip missed em?? think this just made me relocate a few to different tank..
I saw one hole in the bottom that’s it@dyerrm Could you see the holes in the bottom before frsgging?
I’m assuming it’s a wild colony thing. Ughthey were in too deep? dip missed em?? think this just made me relocate a few to different tank..
Yeah that’s the crazy part. Multiple hole throughout the Goni, but only one in the Bottom. Creepy little things.Looks like they actually made holes in the goni!
