I’m changing my aquascape again .-. I feel like I’m not getting enough flow around the tank since the rocks are so huge

For now until I'm ready to kick her out and get her own DT haha.

Don't be surprised if this message self destruct in next 5 minutes or soI'm sorry you're WHAT??
I'm sorry you're WHAT??
Sounds self-explanatory to mekick her out haha.
Compromise?? Is that a new town in AZ? Don't think I've been there.Don't be surprised if this message self destruct in next 5 minutes or so
The term give was loosely coined and thrown out there as a "compromise" that i fully intend to "take backsies" but in the interim is being used to keep her out of tank 1 for time being.
This is the translation I needed.Sounds self-explanatory to me
This has been in my mixed reef with no target feeding for 3 or 4 months now.
Is that right?! So it's getting what it needs from the water column? Do you target feed your other corals?
Good to know, I have one of these coming next week. I think there's only a couple bumblebees in the tank now anyway
So yesterday during the deep clean I was moving things around... and behold when I picked up the porite rock, what was underneath it all? All 5 of my bumblebee snails. No wonder these guys were always hiding. They were getting pestered by the snails!
100% moved all the bumblebee snails to the sump. I’ll throw them back in the DT when I get another vermitid outbreak, but for now they can eat detritus.
Less than 24 hours later and I’ve seen 5 of my Christmas trees poking their heads out to survey the area. Hoping by tomorrow we will see full trees!
I broadcast feed the fish, an odd dash of liquid coral food every few days, no idea what my nutrient levels are so don't ask lol, it sort of works for me!
I broadcast feed reef AB+Ok thanks. That's interesting. I don't feed the corals at all, just the fish.
I might give one of these a try if one comes my way. How hard can it be?!
And I don't ask anyone what their numbers are because those numbers are only relevant to your tank and pretty meaningless to anyone else's .
Looking greatSince I cleaned the glass I thought I’d take a couple of pics to show y’all what I gots.
tank is a 75L cube and it’s been wet for just under 3 months. Dry Marco rock, dry Fiji pink sand started with brightwell ammonia and microbacter start blah blah blah
I have 2 frostbite clowns, red firefish, blood red shrimp, possibly a sexy shrimp and a whackload of snails.
corals are neon tip toadstool, devil’s hand leather, gsp , Xenia , festivus favites, blue maze goniastrea, grubes gorgonian, purple candelabra gorg , corky finger gorg, seafoam cyphastrea, appleberry montipora, purple bonsai acropora, forest fire digitata, orange ricordea florida, green tip frogspawn and a yellow tip hammer. Phew.
tank has a long way to go and it’s quite ‘green ‘but I’m pleased with it so far.
