How did you catch them teach me your ways

Bottle trap was a pain..gave up on them. I got some using a cheap food storage container with rock to weigh it down, but I had the mostt success using 18 inch curved tweezers and a mini red flashlight..you have to be determined. I’d check the tank about an hour after lights out and use my tweezers to grab them. I had some bigger corals on the sand bed they would hide under..every couple of days I’d pick the coral up during the day and grab them. I caught more after lights out/under corals than I did using traps..

@Eagle_Steve said my best bet would be chemiclean, but I came across this from BRS..

Found some people that did this using a 4:1 ratio and it worked. You dip , then brush of algae. Tomorrow going to try it on a “guinea
pig” coral and see what happens. Haven’t decided which will be the guinea pig yet..if it doesn’t work, I’ll have to do the chemiclean

It won't kill all algae. Best thing is remove everything coral came on. Dip and scrub if hints.
I had an algae that stained some of my discs. Not even an over night soak and toothbrush scrub would remove it

Just mount the coral without plugs;):D

You've got plenty of rock space!

So, hehe, I KINDA did something... good!

@elorablue will be happy to know, that I removed a TON of that nasty GHA! It was bugging me WAY too much, and I couldn't just leave it for a week.

Also did a top off and glass scrub.

---

Last FTS will be tomorrow!!

----

I'm gonna really miss you guys this week. I leave tomorrow and don't get back until Saturday.

I find it best to put the phone as close to the tank as possible and turn off lights in the background ;)
