Your second pic is a pencil urchin. They are said to mow through desirable algae and there are claims of them eating coral also. I tossed the pencil urchins out of my batch but kept the red crabs, they’re fine.

And yeah, the urchin is definitely a pencil. I plan on removing when I transfer things to the 120. Figure it’ll be easier when taking the rock it likes out than upsetting everything in the 53 which is still settling in

If you see him out, just get a nice grip on him. Or, if you can take the rock he is on out without issues, that is best so he cant retreat. They are very nocturnal, he'll roam lights out.
