Gave in and picked this bad boy up. Hes about 8 to 9 in. Long. When hes open during the day hes about 5in wide.

Its a beauty for sure I used to have a monster Deresa that was about 12 inches long. It was in a 12inch tall tank so when it closed fast it would actually make a splash.
