New equipment to arrive will be an RA+ with salinity expansion as well as rope leak detector, BRS co2 scrubber with CDX media. Hoping that will start getting my pH within the 8.0-8.3 range. Slowly but surely I'm gonna have my slice of the ocean like in my old 29BC.

I wish it looked like that again.....that was my 29bc when I was in Colorado. Have been battling cyno the past month and am currently dosing h2o2 twice daily into the tank now for a week and everything is dying back. Noticed pods on the glass as well this week as well as baby snails and what I'm guessing is their eggs on my back glass. CDX media is working great for keeping my pH in check these days.

Curious how you are running your CDX? Is the draw line run to the outdoors?

Yes....am using 3/8" tubing that's run under the house to the outside. Even without the CDX and fresh air my pH was still under 7.9 and would never reach my 8.2 target.

Thank you. I am in a bit of the same boat. Heavy co2 in my home and tight seal. I open the home for about 30 minutes each morning and it helps but I can't get mine above 8.1 where it hovers.

Got one of my security cameras pointing at the right side of the tank yesterday afternoon finally....so I can keep an eye on things when I'm actually sitting in my office...

So I purchased an Icecap 1k gyre for the tank. Am hoping the flow patterns will be much better than the RW-8's that I've been using. It should be in on Monday....so I'll get it installed and post a video review of it after I play with the settings a bit.
