Just got myself the autobalance and will get the abex when it's released! But question my first test thismorning seemed a little off my hanna always says 8.7 but the autobalace said 9.15 dkh. Does it take time to settle in? The probe was reading the pH value accurately

If the Hanna is used perfectly, and in perfect working order, when it shows 8.5, the real alkalinity can be anywhere between 8.1 and 8.9, going by the accuracy Hanna claims.

The Xepta has it's own inaccuracy, probably not less than 0.1, probably more than that.

So both values could be "correct" and the devices working as intended. You could get a reference where you know the actual real value and find out which is closer to the real value.
