Wow those things really move
Just a few years ago anything electric was a joke, but with the development of brushless motors and lithium batteries, it's rare to see anyone running nitro any more. You can go buy off the hobby store shelf, take it home and go 100mph out of the box. My fastest is a heavily modified HPI Bullet at around 70mph. It will do standing backflips. I've got a buddy running an XO1 that is 100mph+. Once you get up to those speeds, it's hard to even find places to run them.Wow those things really move
Thanks. Yes, it is a 66. Stock 390 rebuilt with some upgrades. This is the only one I've built that isn't my own. Restored it for a good friend, though it was my baby for a couple years.Nice Hobby's!!! If that's a 1966 Galaxie, throw a landau roof on it and a 352cu (yes it was a truck engine)4 bl Holley and you have my first car!! Amazing Shape!!!
Yeah, I used to be into in about 10 years ago........I think my fastest was roughly 15 mph lol.Just a few years ago anything electric was a joke, but with the development of brushless motors and lithium batteries, it's rare to see anyone running nitro any more. I started with nitro years ago, had to sell my car when I moved overseas but since picking up the hobby again with brushless cars I'll never bother with nitro again. So much cleaner, easier and even water proof. My 1/5th scale is my one fuelie but the 2 stroke pez engines are still easier than nitroJust a few years ago anything electric was a joke, but with the development of brushless motors and lithium batteries, it's rare to see anyone running nitro any more.
